Stages description:

1st stage km 10,5 – Hotel Riu la Mola. Start directly from the hotel area.
Course featuring a long shoreside stretch with both sand and hard, jagged surface. In the inland the run is mainly on secondary dust roads.

2nd stage km 7.8 – Cap de Barbaria – 20 km transfer from Riu la Mola hotel.
The itinerary stretches in the wildest part of the island, mainly on off road trails: a short but very interesting stage.

3rd stage km 12 – Cala Saona – Transfer km 20 from Riu la Mola hotel.
Star in Cala Saona, dust roads and easy up-and-downs until Punta Negra cliff, with hard, jagged terrain. Elevation gain 160 mt.

4th stage km 8 Savina – Plaja de ses Illetes – Transfer km 11 from Riu la Mola hotel.
Start close to La Savina port, run on dust roads and a couple of pretty long beach stretches. Elevation gain 70 mt.

5th stage approximately 21 km. NEW: Departure from the parking lot of l’Pilar de La Mola.
The last stage of the stage program will be the “Formentera Trail 21.1 ”
(max number 250 participants in addition to those registered for the Formentera To Run). It’s an entirely off road hal marathon, featuring a 420 meters climb. This stage is also a single individual race, for those who register only to it, with a specific rank.
Participants in the 15th Formentera to Run will also be ranked in the individual ranking
Formentera Trail 21.1.

The route starts from the parking lot and after a ride to the La Mola Lighthouse, descends down the Roman Chimney to the beach of the
Mitjorn
to afterwards go up the salita de s’Estufador to the arrival. Difficulties are given by the terrain, varoiously jagged and
demanding and by the climb (420 mt). In addition to the end-of-trial refreshment, water points are provided at km 6, 11 and about km 16.

Strongly reccommendedRunning with at least a 50 cc. water supply (bottle or camelbak). In case of high temperatures, three refreshments could be not sufficient for proper re-hydration.
