ZITOWAY 25TH ANNIVERSARY NAMIBIA <\/strong>TOUR | NOVEMBER 6-17, 2025<\/strong><\/h4>

In 2025 Zitoway will celebrate its first twenty-five years in business. It seemed to us that the best way to celebrate this milestone would be a trip to one of the countries we have come to love the most: Namibia.
Namibia<\/b> is one of the most fascinating African countries, able to offer great emotions to travelers. Wild animals, endless spaces, deserts<\/strong> will be a constant of these twelve days along the Namibian tracks. It is also a very peaceful country that offers great travel security and serenity<\/strong>.
The style of the tour reflects the philosophy that has always inspired our competitions: a fair amount of “adventure” and discovery, accompanied by the proposal of a good level of comfort<\/strong>.
Our group, which will also have some members of the Zitoway staff as participants, will make use of a local guide and will travel in a special equipped vehicle with a driver, which will allow them to move easily on any track.
Accommodation in tented camps, as well as meals eaten in the restaurants<\/strong> of our host facilities or prepared by our staff, allow you to fully enjoy the wilderness of Namibia without sacrificing good comfort.
The tour takes in some of Namibia’s most iconic places: from the Waterberg<\/b> Plateau to Etosha<\/b> Park, from the Skeleton Coast<\/b> to the Namib<\/b> Desert. A variety of landscapes and situations that will not fail to leave indelible memories in all of us. Leave with us !<\/strong><\/p>

In 2001, during the 3rd edition of the 100 km of the Sahara<\/b> the professional meeting between Adriano Zito<\/b> and Manuel Lugli<\/b>, a <\/b>passionate traveler, mountaineer as well as runner, takes place. His skills and enthusiasm contribute to further enrich the programs of ZITOWAY Sport & Adventure<\/strong>.
In 2008, a valuable and intense collaboration with Spaniard Carlos Garcia Prieto<\/b> begins. <\/b>First known as a competitor, Carlos has participated in almost every ZITOWAY Sport & Adventure initiative<\/b> to date.<\/p>

Furthermore, ZITOWAY Sport & Adventure avails itself of the invaluable collaborations<\/b> of a team of experts<\/b> who make up the ZITOWAY STAFF<\/b> . ZITOWAY Sport & Adventure<\/b> began in 1998.<\/p>

Always passionate about Adventure, Sports and Desert<\/b>, after his participation in the 13th edition of the Marathon des Sables<\/b> in 1998, Adriano Zito<\/b> decided to turn his life around.
In 1999 Adriano Zito, Race Director of ZITOWAY events<\/b>, organized the 1st edition of the 100km of Sahara<\/b> in the Tunisian Sahara.<\/p>

Adriano Zito, a profound connoisseur of Africa<\/b> and the desert environment<\/b> thanks to the numerous trips made in the world’s deserts<\/b>, thus founded ZITOWAY Sport & Adventure<\/b>.<\/p>

The love for running<\/b> , and the growing desire to organize various races in naturalistic environments, leads to the development of other \u201cTrail Running Adventures\u201d events in the most spectacular places on the planet.<\/p>

ZITOWAY Sport & Adventure currently organizes ultra running and trail stage events in the Sahara<\/a><\/b>, inNamibia<\/a>, in <\/b>Formentera<\/a><\/b> and in Fuerteventura<\/a><\/b>.
The sporting events almost always have two distances<\/b>, one for Runners<\/g> and a shorter one<\/b> for Walkers & Nordic Walkers.<\/b>
