Between the sea of Mitjorn and the trails of Cap de Barbaria<\/strong>, participants enjoy a unique experience between sports, nature and Mediterranean landscapes<\/p>\n

The Formentera To Run 2026<\/strong> has already provided great excitement in its first two stages, confirming itself as one of the most fascinating stage races on the international scene. Participants are discovering the island by running through some of its most evocative places, surrounded by natural scenery of extraordinary beauty.
\nThe first stage took place along the beach of Mitjorn, where athletes faced the heat and wind typical of the Formentera coast. A spectacular route that offered breathtaking views of the Mediterranean<\/strong> and immediately tested the legs and endurance of the competitors. <\/p>\n

The second day took runners to the Cap de Barbaria area<\/strong>, one of the most iconic places on the island. The route wound through Mediterranean pine forests and paths bordering a historic century-old salt marsh, giving participants an authentic experience in close contact with Formentera’s nature and history.
\nAfter the first two stages, the overall men’s ranking sees Italian Massimiliano Durbano in the lead with a total time of 1h00’16”, followed by compatriots Dylaver Shirja and Luca Lameri. In the women’s field, on the other hand, Sara Carducci leads, the protagonist of an excellent start to the race that also places her among the top ten in the overall standings. <\/p>\n

With athletes coming from different countries, the event confirms its international vocation.<\/strong> Italy once again represents one of the most numerous nations at the start, contributing to the atmosphere of friendship and sharing that has always characterized the event.
\nMore than just a competition, Formentera To Run is an experience that allows people to experience the island in a different way, running<\/strong> among the sea, pine forests, paths and unique views. A formula that combines sport, vacation and discovery of the area and that continues to attract fans from all over Europe. <\/p>\n

In the coming days the race will continue with new stages that will take participants to discover other spectacular corners of the island, until the grand finale scheduled for the weekend.<\/p>\n
