The first stage took place along the beach of Mitjorn, where athletes faced the heat and wind typical of the Formentera coast. A spectacular route that offered breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and immediately tested the legs and endurance of the competitors.
The second day took runners to the Cap de Barbaria area, one of the most iconic places on the island. The route wound through Mediterranean pine forests and paths bordering a historic century-old salt marsh, giving participants an authentic experience in close contact with Formentera’s nature and history.
After the first two stages, the overall men’s ranking sees Italian Massimiliano Durbano in the lead with a total time of 1h00’16”, followed by compatriots Dylaver Shirja and Luca Lameri.
